Online font previewer

Every once in a while there comes a time when you need to find a good font for a project. I was recently thinking of ideas for logos and searching for the perfect font in Photoshop when I realised how tedious it could get looking through 2000+ fonts so I got looking for a font previewer to help me visualise my fonts quicker.

After a lengthy search I found a few applications that I could download. Some free, some not, but the free applications (that I downloaded anyway) didn’t let me enter my own text. I found a useful online Flash application for previewing fonts, but this was no different to what Photoshop offered me i.e. viewing each font 1 by 1.

In the end, I decided to make my own. I thought this would be useful in the long run and I might as well put it online for others to use as well. It is not meant for long paragraphs of text, it is primarily meant for short snippets of text, ideally for logos.
